Berry’s café not only provides all staff and project workers with delicious lunch, snacks and hot drinks throughout the week, it also provides valuable cooking and hospitality training to our project workers.
We endeavour to utilise all the produce that is grown at the farm by the horticulture team down in the vegetable beds. The café also stocks a variety of fair trade teas and coffees. Our new outdoor stretch tent has allowed us to now utilise our decking area all year round, the sides come off during the summer so that a breeze can pass through.
Part of Solihull charity Family Care Trust, Newlands Bishop Farm offers work based learning to adults with learning disabilities and mental health problems in a variety of different activities including animal care, horticulture, wood work, catering and more.
